I’m Sarah, a finance and business mentor dedicated to helping female sole traders in the UK gain financial clarity, confidence, and control over their businesses. Having once been in your shoes, juggling creativity with the realities of bookkeeping, taxes, and pricing, I understand the challenges that come with running a business on your own.
My journey started with a creative business in soft furnishings and crafts. Like many women in business, I loved what I did but found the financial side overwhelming. That’s what led me to immerse myself into finance, first working in business banking and later qualifying as an AAT accountant.
Over the years, I’ve worked with countless sole traders, guiding them through self-assessments, VAT, pricing strategies, and cash flow management.
